• Represented a financial services company currently holding the highest equity stakes in one of the largest financial services organisation in Africa, at the Federal High Court, on a capital markets dispute involving the method of additional capital raise of N350,000,000,000.00 (three hundred and fifty billion Naira).
• Representing Nigeria’s leading energy supplier in a multi-million United States Dollars commercial litigation. • Representing a leading company in deep offshore Nigeria and operator of OML 120 in high stake commercial disputes with a multinational bank involving over a billion United States Dollars claim. • Representing a leading fully integrated and efficient downstream player with leading positions in the Nigeria Oil Industry (as well as its affiliates involved in production and manufacturing of oil products) in a multi-million United States Dollars commercial dispute. • Managing the entire litigation portfolio and providing legal support and effective case management for the leading e-commerce platform in Africa, with successful outcomes in inferior and superior courts of record, as well as successfully negotiating out-of-court settlement. • Successfully represented the premier integrated stock exchange group in Africa in a tax disputes bordering on applicability of Value Added Tax to rental incomes, irrespective of the Finance Act 2019. The outcome of the Tax Appeal Tribunal’s decision serves as a landmark judgment in Lagos Zone. • Part of the team that successfully represented the interest of a leading energy company at the High Court of Lagos State and Federal High Court, Lagos, consequence of which led to a Norwegian company selling 20.21% stake in Agbami oilfield, to our client. • Managing the litigation portfolio and representing the interest of a large consumer durable distribution conglomerate at the High Court of Lagos State, Court of Appeal, Lagos, and at mediation sessions, • Prepared winning criminal brief of arguments in respect of 3 (three) criminal appeals at the Court of Appeal, Ibadan. • Successfully represented the interest of a scheduled Nigerian domestic passenger flight in a winding-up petition, where the Federal High Court, Lagos, dismissed the petition for failure to found sufficient particulars in the award for special damages. • Managing the portfolio of a foremost integrated real estate and property development company, and providing legal support at superior courts of record including successfully defending its interest at the Court of Appeal on a high stake commercial dispute. • Representing the premier and leader of the petroleum industry in Nigeria, in high-stake commercial and environmental disputes at the Federal High Court • Successfully tested the provision of paragraph 3(3b) of the NICN Practice Direction and effectively struck out a complaint for being incompetent. • Represented the leading cable manufacturer in West Africa before the Industrial Arbitration Panel, Lagos, where we successfully dismissed the industrial action and redundancy claims of the 1st Party.• Barrister-at-Law (B.L) | Nigerian Law School, F.C.T., Abuja.
