Advised US-based Avanti Communications Group Plc on the provision of security by its Nigerian affiliate, Avanti Satellite Communications Services Nigeria Limited, in support of its restructuring of a multi-million USD debt with a syndicate of foreign lenders.

Represented US-based Intrepid Offshore Construction Inc. in Insolvency Administration proceedings against a leading Nigerian oil and gas company involving a multi-million USD debt.
Represented Suntrust Oil Limited in a debt recovery and winding up proceeding about a multi-million USD debt owed by an Irish-based oil company with assets in Nigeria.
A key member of the team which represented Sealand Oilfield Services Ltd in debt recovery and liquidation proceedings involving a multi-million USD debt owed by a Nigerian lender.
Represented Providus Bank Plc in three debt recovery and winding up proceedings collectively valued at billions of Naira.
A key member of the team which successfully defended Neconde Energy Ltd against a multi-million-dollar claim arising from an offtake oil and gas agreement at the London Court of International Arbitration.
A key member of the team that successfully defended the largest gas producer and exporter in West Africa against a multi-billion USD claim at the London Court of International Arbitration.
Advised Quits Hospitality Ltd on two hotel management agreements (including Legend Hotel Lagos Airport, Curio Collection by Hilton) with Hilton Worldwide, collectively valued at hundreds of millions of USD.
Acted as transaction counsel in a major Airport infrastructure Project worth hundreds of millions USD involving a state in Southern Nigeria.
A key member of the legal team which advised Lagos Deep Offshore Logistics Base (LADOL) on multiple leases, logistics, and shareholders’ agreements relating to its facility, which facilitated the integration of the multi-billion USD Egina FPSO vessel.
