Elizabeth’s practice focuses mainly on corporate/commercial transactions and incidental matters, such as company registration, company secretarial services. She is skilled in Corporate Law particularly corporate restructuring, corporate finance, due diligence, corporate compliance, joint ventures, negotiations and divestments involving private and public quoted Companies, legal advisory services and mergers and acquisitions in Nigeria. Elizabeth has an extensive experience in advising investors, both local and foreign, on capital market, private equity, fund management, corporate governance, and client profiling.
She operates from the firm’s Abuja’s office which gives her ready access to the Corporate Affairs Commission and other regulatory bodies associated with company registration and compliance in Nigeria such as the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), National Officer of Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP), Trademarks, Patents and Design Registries, Nigerian Immigrations, relevant tax authorities.
Elizabeth has solid experience in writing legal opinions on behalf of clients in diverse corporate arrears including drafting and reviewing corporate/commercial agreements. She is also passionate about project coordination, project finance and investment; client/customer relation management.
