REPRESENTATIVE WORK

• Advising as transaction counsel to an indigenous mining company in Nigeria regarding the sale of its mineral assets in a state in Nigeria.

• Representing a foremost mining company in Nigeria regarding billions of naira trespass claim, illegal gold mining operations in southwestern Nigeria.
• Advising the Federal Government of Nigeria and International Non-Governmental Organisations on the protection of the rights and interests of mining host communities in Nigeria.
• Advising the Nigerian partner in an International Joint Venture on the development and financing of a solid mineral project for gold and lithium in Nigeria.
• Advised on the Reverse Take-Over (RTO) of a mining asset in Nigeria by a company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
• Acted as counsel separately in arbitration (in collaboration with two major international law firms) and litigation for an international oil company in a claim for billions of US Dollars.
• Counsel to a multi-national logistics company in an arbitration worth millions of US Dollars.
• Currently advising an indigenous mining company on raising finance for the development of its mines.
• Currently advising a sub-national on the development of a gas distribution infrastructure masterplan throughout the state. The project involves an IOC, and is valued in excess of hundreds of millions of US Dollars.
• Thought leader at critically acclaimed seminars and webinars, to Nigerian and International audiences on contemporary issues in the Nigerian extractive industry.
