REPRESENTATIVE WORK

• Part of the team that successfully represented the Nigerian subsidiary of a leading international shipping company in a multi-million naira arbitration claim arising from a Lease Agreement and Shoreline and Road Construction Agreement for the construction of a jetty, shoreline protection and access road.

• Part of the team representing the largest indigenous metal and steel production company in Nigeria against a multi-billion naira claim arising from the purported breach of an NDA in respect of the sale of a power plant.
• Part of the team representing a wholly owned Nigerian shipping company in a million-dollar claim against two indigenous insurance companies arising from a marine insurance policy.
• Part of the team representing an indigenous dredging and mining company in a multi-million-naira claim against a leading real estate company arising from a Dredging and Hydraulic Sand-filling contract.
• Advised an indigenous investment banking company on the propriety of void dispositions in view of winding up proceedings brought against it on the basis of a purported five hundred million naira debt.
• Part of the team representing the concessionaire of Murtala Mohammed Airport II (Domestic Wing) in respect of several employment claims against the company.
• Part of the team that advised the Oyo State Government on a proposed Gas Transmission and Distribution Network Project to be undertaken by Shell Natural Gas in Oyo State.
• Part of the team advising a Nigerian bank on the creation of a first-of-its-kind Home Loans Web Portal.
• Advised an indigenous consolidated bank on the likelihood of success of its appeal against a judgment delivered against it in favour of a major commercial car dealership company to the tune of hundreds of millions of naira and represented the bank in related settlement meetings.
• Part of the team that represented the foremost insurance brokerage company in Nigeria (on behalf of six of its major clients) in the recovery of insurance claims worth over a million dollars against a defaulting insurance company.
• Advised a thriving Nigerian fintech company concerning a billion naira capital raise for the expansion of its financial books and improvement of operational efficiency.
