REPRESENTATIVE WORK

• Co-led team of lawyers that drafted Regulations for the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board that are in use in the industry.

• Advised on the framework for the Nigerian Content Funds.
• Post-arbitration litigation challenging an award rendered in London involving a state-owned oil company and several IOCs in respect of a unitized field in Nigeria.
• Reviewed and negotiated Production Sharing Agreements (PSC), Joint Operating Agreements (JOA), Service Agreements, and Collective Bargaining Agreements for an International Oil Company.
• Negotiated amicable settlement of disputes that arose with the administration of the client’s contracts and ensuring cost-effective resolutions acceptable to all parties.
• Created compliance standards for the monitoring and application of all internal policies/procedures, contractual obligations. And laws/regulations affecting all aspects of a client’s business in Nigeria.
• Drafting joint venture agreement for NNPC’s subsidiary in respect of its real estate project development valued at over a hundred billion Naira and dealing with compliance requirements.
