REPRESENTATIVE WORK

• Part of the team that represented Nigeria’s National Oil Corporation (NNPC) in high-value arbitral proceedings.

• Part of the legal team involved in the review of a Concession Agreement and the resolution of a related high-value dispute concerning a major airport terminal project, involving claims valued at several billion Naira.
• Part of the team involved in the negotiation, drafting, and review of the Construction Agreements for the development of the Bank of Industry’s new head office and regional office Building.
• Part of the team that advised Duchess Hospital Limited on agreements with Health Management Organisations (HMOs), as well as various lease and commercial agreements.
• Part of the Legal Team involved in the negotiation and settlement of a substantial construction dispute relating to a hotel and conference centre, facilitating the resumption of the previously suspended construction works.
• Provided strategic legal advice to several construction companies throughout the various stages of major construction, infrastructure and development projects, including project structuring, procurement, negotiation, execution, documentation, and implementation.
• Drafted, reviewed and advised on a wide range of commercial and transactional agreements, including Shareholders’ Agreements, Contracts of Sale, Employment Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, EPC and other Construction Agreements, Development Services Agreements, Asset Purchase Agreements, Employment Agreements and Consultancy Agreements.
• Part of the team involved in the negotiation, settlement and drafting of Settlement Agreements in high-value aviation and construction disputes involving claims and settlements running into billions of Naira.
• Provided legal opinions and strategic advice on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters, including the impact of legislative and regulatory developments on clients’ businesses.
