REPRESENTATIVE WORK

• Advised the National Assembly on earlier version of Petroleum Industry Act.

• Advised the National Assembly on the amendment to the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act.
• Advised the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board on the amendment to the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act.
• Drafted Regulations for the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board that are in use in the industry.
• Advised on the framework for the Nigerian Content Funds.
• Advised Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, including drafting agreements, providing opinions regarding transactions arising from investments made by its Fund to gas companies.
• Advised Sinopec Corp. China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (SINOPEC). on transactions in respect of upstream acquisitions in an IOC.
• Regularly advise IOCs, Independents, foreign investors on different aspects of Nigerian upstream and downstream operations under, including divestments, compliance, fiscal regime, governance and financing.
• Regularly advise electricity companies on various aspects of their operations.
• Party appointed Co-Arbitrator; appointed Sole Arbitrator by Appointing Authorities in domestic and international Arbitration, especially in Energy, IT, Telecommunications, Construction and Real Estate disputes.
• Acted as lead Counsel in several complex arbitral and court disputes with large claims.
