Olayinka’s practice focus is on litigation, arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms with particular emphasis on the prosecution and defense of intellectual property, real estate, infrastructure and construction claims in which he has acquired significant proficiency since his admission to the Nigerian Bar. He also carries out trademark registration and advises clients on trademark issues. He is familiar with the operations of and interfaces with the Nigerian Copyright Commission and the Trademarks registry in Nigeria.
Olayinka advises and assists with compliance for foreign entities and individuals seeking to carry on business in Nigeria in respect of compliance with relevant immigration laws as well as obtaining permits and quotas. He has acted on behalf of various corporate and individual clients, including the Federal Government of Nigeria in the resolution of complex and high value disputes.
As a seasoned alternative dispute resolution lawyer, he brings to bear, his experience in the preparation and review of transactions documents. He was part of the team that packaged on behalf of a private investor, the legal documentation and structure for the construction of a multi-million Naira estate close to the city centre in Abuja, Nigeria.
